The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. - John 1:14
God. John 1:1. What greater Joy could we ask for as created beings by the Author
of the Word. As these two verses in John indicate; the Word has always been, and
we see here that it is Jesus our savior. John states that the Word was in the
beginning, and it became flesh (Jesus). Jesus came to save a world and us from our
own selves. Jesus didn’t just come on the scene out of the blue so to speak in
Jerusalem and start preaching. John tells us that Jesus (the Word) has always been.
So, Jesus was part of the whole creation right down to how many hairs I have on
my head.

The Joy we can feel certain of is that Jesus is going to do what He said when He
left the earth. He is going to come back and take us to a heavenly home and there
isn’t going to be any way to keep this from happening as long as we … confess
with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

This Christmas season, confess and believe so that you can have the Joy of a risen
Savior in your heart. Jesus will do what He said from the beginning (Genesis) and
take us home when the right time comes.

My Joy is that you become part of God’s/Jesus’ family. Find out how before it is
too late.

God Bless to each of you and Merry Christmas,
Stewart Wood
