Advent Week 1: Hope

“Jesus said, I am the light of the world;
‘he who follows me will not walk in darkness, 
but will have the light of life’” - John 8:12

The first candle lit on the Advent wreath reminds us of the light of HOPE that the prophets had in their expectation of a Messiah who would bring peace and love to the world.
