For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions,
and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
while we wait for the blessed hope—
the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
-Titus 2:11-13

Forever: how can I possibly describe forever? I can say that forever is as long as I
can remember. How about we say forever to mean a really long time or all
foreseeable future time? Now think of forever while thinking about God. What
does forever mean to Him?
God has been with man since the beginning. Maybe we could say He has been
with man “forever”. God brings us joy and hope that we can have by asking Him
to come into our heart forever. God will be with us always (forever) into the future
and He will bring us to His home when the time is right and in His time.
I think that the scripture from Titus describes forever well. God, being with man
from the beginning, sent His son Jesus at His perfect timing. Jesus came, taught,
died and then returned to the Father/God. Now we wait forever but I don’t think
forever, for God, is so very long since He can see all time, future and past.
Jesus left us to complete a job for Him and the father; we should tell everyone
about Him. With this in mind, forever doesn’t sound quite so bad. As another
Christmas season approaches and we celebrate the birth of our savior; I pray that
forever will be a joyful time for everyone.
